imogene + willie is looking for an Apparel Production Assistant in our Los Angeles sewing facility. This person will report to the Director of Manufacturing and will assist in various production responsibilities. This is a full-time in-person role based in Los Angeles, CA. They can expect to work closely with our quality control person, product development team, as well as production team from Nashville.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Measure production shrink blankets and recording data
• Receive in bulk trims and fabric, and verify / receiving into PLM system
• Assist in issuing cuts to contractors and maintain control of trims and fabric inventory.
• Pull BOMs and all trim for each production order pull
• Receive incoming daily packages and distribute to the team
• Assist director of manufacturing with purchase orders for cutters, sewers, wash houses and finishing companies
• Assists with orders of trim for certain items – zippers, elastics, bias, etc.

Qualifications:

• Be an inspiring team player and thrive in a very fast-paced environment, and juggle multiple projects
• Have at least 3 years of experience in a product development or production assistant environment
• Have experience with PC software including Microsoft Office & PLM.
• Be fluent in Spanish and English
